Product description
Stiefel RP1 Insect Stop Gel is a highly effective insect repellent in gel form that provides active protection against ticks and insects in accordance with the Biocide Regulation. It is particularly suitable for sensitive areas and for horses that are sensitive to sprays, as the gel is applied to the horse using the included sponge.
Stiefel RP1 Insect Stop Gel is also alcohol-free and therefore suitable for horses with sweet itch. The active ingredient Saltidin® (Icaridin) is almost odourless for humans and does not bother either humans or horses with an unpleasant smell. Insects, however, detect scents through their sensory system and are repelled by the product. When RP1 is applied to the coat, the volatile properties of the active ingredient create a thin, protective scent barrier that can remain effective for several hours.
Icaridin® is also suitable for riders due to its skin-friendly properties. To ensure optimal effectiveness, repellents must be applied thoroughly and evenly: the combination of spray and gel ensures maximum efficiency with minimal use. The spray is used for larger areas, while the gel is ideal for targeted application under the belly and on sensitive areas around the head.
Stiefel RP1 has received multiple test awards and quality seals.
Application: Apply Stiefel RP1 Insect Stop Gel sparingly to the desired areas as needed. Avoid contact with sensitive body parts (eyes, ears, nostrils, and mucous membranes). Protective effect begins immediately.
